September

Labor Day weekend, we took the boys to the annual picnic hosted in Greg's hometown. They loved it. The hit of the night was ring the duck... And, yes, they were real ducks.

Check out Noah's face...concentration.

Somehow, he managed to get himself in on the work too.

Almost got one!

S'mores!

Where is the hose?

The pool stayed open late this summer because it was so hot. Hunter and I went to the pool one day while the boys were at school. I thought he would have the time of his life. Instead, all he wanted to do was eat snacks.

Playing while the boys are a school.

18 month picture (which should have been taken in August...Oops!)

My mom and I took the boys to a Parents as Teachers activity, Vehicle Day. They were in heaven! They also had bicycle helmet fittings. John got a new helmet, which he was so excited about. Noah was upset on the way because he loved his Cars helmet and didn't want to get rid of it. But then when he realized John was getting a helmet and he wasn't, he wanted a new one. (John didn't have one at all though.)

Pulling the wagon.

Driving the mail truck.

Under the snow plow (love the face! and who knew the plow was that tall?)

On the fire truck

The only time they will ever be on a motorcycle. (At least I hope!)

Poor baby has to ride in the stroller all the time. But he is such a good little boy!!

September also brings soccer! This was Noah's second year to play. He enjoyed it much more this year.

He liked to be where the ball was.

The cutest fan!

Check out that kick!

Yes!

19th months.

Stopping the ball!

Crash!

At Grandpa's 70th birthday celebration. Hunter did not want to have his picture taken. Grandpa thought it was funny.

Just stuck him in there. He's still cute, even when he's crying.

Time for School!

In September, Noah started Kindergarten! I still can't believe it! He is loving it. He goes full day, which was an adjustment for everyone. John started his first year of preschool. He goes two mornings a week and also is loving it. The boys went to a Meet the Teacher night the week before school started. They already knew their teachers, but it's still fun to go and let them see their rooms and meets some of the friends in their classes.

Fun at the Lake

We got to spend the day with Greg's brother Matt and his family on their boat (in August). It was so much fun. Hunter hated the life vest at first, but we pushed through and he got used to it. John did not want to get in the lake. We practically threw him in and then couldn't get him out. He was floating around...by himself... rather far from the boat. We'd tell him to come closer to the boat. He'd take about two strokes and ask if that was close enough. Noah loved riding on the tube behind the wave runner. John did not. It was a very fun day. Thanks, Uncle Matt and Aunt Vicki!

Having a little snack.

Floating around with Garrett.

Noah riding the tube with daddy.

"Driving" the boat.

Playing with the squirter.

Riding the tube with Tori.

Just floating around with daddy and Hailey.

Loving the water...once he was in!

A little hard to tell, but John is pitching a fit. He does NOT like to tube.

Swimming.

He kept getting water in his mouth...

A little too far from the boat.

Ready to jump in!

Boating makes little boys tired.
