October 2015

In spite of her broken arm, she is a super happy camper. When we took her to the doctor to get her cast, they asked about her handedness. She did use both hands quite a bit before the broken arm. But once she had the cast, I noticed she was having lots of trouble using her fork/spoon. Turns out she is our lefty. (Greg has been rooting for one.)

My sweet little helper!

Sometimes it's fun to get to have lunch with daddy by yourself.

John's teacher had a "birth" party for the class after they studied Abraham and Isaac. She asked the parents to send letters to their children and pictures of them as a baby. It was just a time to celebrate each of the kids. It was so sweet! She also brought cupcakes for them. John was the Cheerful Servant that day and got to hand out the cupcakes.

It just so happens that the same day as the Birth Party, Noah and John both got a Christian Witness award for being sweet servants! They are truly treasures!

Somehow, these picture got mixed up with the October images... But these should have made the September post. Noah fishing at Pioneer Day. (He is on the far left.)

Word on the street is John caught the biggest fish on Pioneer Day.

Sometimes, you just need dinner and a movie...with stadium seating.

We love Living Water so much! The older kids sometimes come read to the younger kids. It's such a sweet time!

Sweet buddies snuggled up!

Fun at the park! No sure why John is biting his knee...

Fun on the merry-go-round.

My little shadow.

I love this picture of Pip. She has such an angel face!

The boys wanted to sign Pip's cast. We were scheduled to get family pictures, so I told them they had to wait until after the pictures. We sort of forgot about it. So the morning she was going to get it off, they all signed it. She screamed as they were doing it. Hunter didn't even finish. He didn't like her crying.

Pip and Hunter with their buddy, Lane. They have some sweet times together!

Soccer is in full swing. Noah loves to play and has improved so much!

He loves to play goalie and is really good at it!

John loved playing soccer too!

As mentioned, we had family pictures taken by our really great friend, who just so happens to be an amazing photographer. (www.danatateweddings.com) Here are just a few. And you know, when you have a house full of boys, you choose pink as your common color.

Best buddies at the pumpkin patch!

Riding the tractor.

Of course Piper had to have a turn too!

Family pic!

It's tough to get a good picture of all the munchkins, but this one isn't too shabby!

The boys all ready for Super Hero Day at school! The doctor and the soldier.

On Halloween, we were blessed to spend it with sweet friends. They have been to our house many years for Halloween. This year, we went to their house. The kids had a blast and they were all so cute!

September 2015

September was a full and fun month. Hunter started preschool, 40 pounds of apples were picked...and eaten, much soccer was "watched," we attended another great Pioneer Day at Living Water Academy, and poor little Piper broke her arm.

Hunter's first day of preschool

A girl with 3 brothers is not afraid of the dirt.

Sweet Hunter asleep...with his thumbs in the thumb holes. (He's just too much!)

John was more into soccer this year!

Swingin' between soccer games

A bag of books at soccer game #2 for the day. (John had already played, now it was time to watch Noah!)

This boy got his very first pair of new shoes ever...at 3 1/2 years old. (When you have two older brothers, you just get hand-me-downs. Eventually, they fall apart.)

We got to go apple picking with our sweet friends, the Tates. (Sadly, we did not get a picture of us all together. And even more sad, daddy was out of town and missed all the fun!)

Noah...who seems way too big in this picture!

Sweet John with a prize pick!

Doing a little sampling

She insisted on carrying (or dragging) her own bag.

Mommy and the crew

One of my very favorite pictures! These two are such sweet buddies.

This one got to have a special lunch with daddy. He was working very hard on getting every last drop of apple juice. (The poor child rarely gets juice.)

Noah in action!

When you send daddy with the big boys to Noah's drum lessons, they come home with a guitar. Greg told John if he could recite his poem word-perfect for him, he would buy him a guitar. Guess what... He did.

Poor little Piper broke her arm. It was so sad, but she was a trooper!
